If you've ever thought about seeing how things work backstage at the Leeds Festival you can now do this as part of Leeds Festival's new apprenticeship scheme!
Leeds Festival has announced that it is offering two 12 month apprenticeships and ten internship placements of up to 3 weeks to give 2012 Leeds Festival goers the chance to get involved with Production; Ticketing; Sponsorship; PR; Marketing; Artist Liaison; Sustainability; Digital Media; Social Media; On site at Leeds, On site at Reading; and with associated companies such as Hall or Nothing (print and online PR) and Scream PR (broadcast PR).
The aim of the Leeds Festival Internship scheme is to provide experience in the events and festival industry to young people; developing their skills and experience as they look to begin their careers. The new placements will be based at the London office of Festival Republic and the Leeds Festival site, applicants must be between 18-25 years of age, basic expenses will be paid.
