I've been to download before but this will be my first year stewarding and I've got a couple of questions. Will I be able to camp with freinds in one of the standard campsite rather than the volunteer camp? And what are they like for picking shifts? I'm happy to work anything other than the Sunday evening as not wanting to miss tool. Thanks in advance

As far as volunteer shifts you can choose your preferances - there are usually about 20-30 shift patterns at a festival to choose from, we'll email you closer to the festival to let you know when you can login to PAAM to select your shift preferances. We then work very hard to make sure everyone gets the highest preference possible!
As far as camping, we do ask that you camp in the crew area.
