Keeping our volunteers dry in 2012!

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

So we've all had enough of the rain! The sun is now out and we're hoping it's going to stay that way but just in case it doesn't we've been working tirelessly looking for the best options for helping you all to stay dry if we do have a wet day or two at 2012's best festivals!

Following some hunting it turns out that one of the UK's largest poncho suppliers is not far from the Hotbox Events office! We've been chatting with them and have agreed a great deal on enough ponchos to keep us all dry throughout the summer! As modelled here by Steph Newman, the ponchos we've ordered are good quality. One should be enough to last you through at least one festival, if you look after it probably quite a few more!

You'll be able to grab a festival poncho from the Hotbox Events office at the Latitude Festival, Reading Festival and Leeds Festival. We won't be able to give them away but they'll be exceptional value and far less that you would be able to buy one for as we're buying in bulk! As with the discounted crew cafe meal vouchers we offer at the Hotbox Events office you'll be able to grab a poncho and have the cost taken from your deposit - so you don't need to worry about having to spend your festival cash!

We still advise you bring warm and waterproof clothing to the festivals although if your jacket isn't quite up to the job or you'd like a backup just in case our festival ponchos should do the job!

If like us you're starting to think about what to take to this year's festivals head over to the PAAM Blog where you can find the Festival Survival Guide.
