I have just been a CAT at Latitude and had a great time, despite some challenging conditions and to all first timers I will pass my observations on for anyone who can be bothered to read it!

Every shift is different - a busy shift goes faster.

Enjoy it, you are getting experience - it all adds to your CV and gives you examples of dealing with situations and how character building it is putting tents up in the rain or in the night etc

Be willing and helpful, its all part of the feelgood factor.

Just because you are volunteering it doesn't mean you are doing them a favour or are owed - remember you are working your ticket for the event! (they are doing YOU the favour!)

You are representing Hotbox and CATs, there are guests, managers, supervisors and security with expectations of you and you have a tabbard number!

You are an advertisement for yourself, you are your best opportunity of selling yourself to return for another event.

Be willing, have fun, enjoy [8D]
