Hi!!

Firstly, Download will be my first overnight festival and my first time volunteering! A little nervous so if anyone's working golf dog squad pls hmu!! <3

Secondly, I'm going with my friend who isn't volunteering with Hotbox (just has a regular ticket) and was planning on sharing a tent with him (he isn't bringing anyone else) - do you reckon this would be an issue/bad idea camping in the regular area while I'm not on shift? Like is it too far from important volunteering stuff going on/announcements/starting shifts? Am clueless!!

Also if anyone's travelling from Birmingham and would like to travel with us gimme a shout!! ))

Someone else asked about this questing before and the answer was they ask for people to stay in the crew area. If you don't have a second tent you're free to stay in mine. I have a 4 man tent and I'm going by myself.

I'm heading down on the Wednesday so you could probably stay from then if you still need a tent

As far as I understand it's OK but is discoraged. If you are planning on doing that, which I would highly advse against as there are always people with space going in their tents, make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the Hotbox compound before shift.
