Hello! This will be my first year volunteering at Reading Festival. I'm coming from Spain and have only been once to London, so I don't know very well the place. Could you help me out with some doubts?

Do you know how long will it take to get from Heathrow airport to Riechfield Avenue? How can I even get there? Are there any trains or coaches?

Do you know any low-cost youth hostel or place where I could stay for the first days(19th and 20th and 21st)?

Thank you very much :)

There is a frequent service from Heathrow to Reading railway station, full details are on http://www.railair.com/index.php . Regarding cheap places to stay, I believe some of the staff stay at Premier Inn beforehand, but if you need anything cheaper I'd suggest hostelworld.com .

Thank you very much! I have just seen that the official Reading Festival website has been updated and there are tons of info regarding transport issues :) Thank you for the names ;D

You'll need to be onsite and camping on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the festival starts, depending on which shifts you are working as you have to attend an onsite briefing, so don't worry finding somewhere to stay, as the campsite opens on the Tuesday at 12:00 (if I remember correctly from last year).
