I know you cant even apply yet! but i was looking to vol at reading and was thinking of just doing 3 night shifts, but what do the shift/jobs include? (eg. do you clean the grounds at night or get everything ready for the morning)

You generally do the same as the CATs during the day... But in the dark (don't forget to bring a torch)! You will still be there to assist the campers with information - quite often they're forgotten where they've pitched their tent, or need directions to the shop, the Silent Disco or another campsite. You also help to monitor the campsites in the same way as the daytime CATs - looking for a build up of litter, signs of distress, facilities that are broken, etc. Hope this helps.
