I really want to see these guys play whilst at leeds, I totally love them, but I was wondering, can it be arranged so I can get to meet them after they play, or even just a chance to say hi, or something. I promise I won't faint lol or anything mad like that

Hi Rachel

Unfortunately no, The CATs do not have access to the backstage area with their crew wristbands.

joelmole posted this 22 April 2011

Are there any other perks to having a crew wristband apart from entry to the staff campsite, bar and showers? (not that that isn't great already ;) !)

Depending on which campsite you are assigned to, you get a free lift in the staff mini-bus to and from your site for your shifts... that's a real big perk, some of the teams have to walk it... and... the mini-bus drivers are soooooooooooooo much fun... :-)

Haha that does sound like a good perk! :)

And if you catch them early enough, they'll give you a lift to the showers too :-D

But on a serious note, the chances of getting to meet a band are very small unless you are lucky enough to bump into them wandering around the site. As general crew, you don't get access to back stage areas as we don't staff these areas. Best thing to do is keep your eye on the signing tent lists and IF (it's a big If considering they are one of the headliners) they are appearing in the signing tent, you could be a little bit cheeky and speak to the security to see if they let you queue jump a little.
I can't promise that this will work but there's no harm in asking!

Could always pull the old my shift starts in 10 minutes line! ;)

Well its the age old saying, \"If you don't ask, you don't get!\"

your best bet is to just go to one of their normal gigs and wait around afterwards, frankie boy nearly always comes out to say hello
