Hey, I wonder if anyone can help me!
My friend and I are volunteering at Latitude this year and have to be there by 12pm on Wednesday the 16th - we're planning to catch an early train from Norwich that morning but neither of us drive and have no idea how to get to Henham Park from the station - does anyone have knowledge of how much a taxi costs or would be willing to give us a lift if we paid you? SOS !!

There's two stations used for the festival. Halesworth is the nearest station, and staff buses are run from there on the Tue/Wed and the returning Monday. However due to the small capacity trains on the Halesworth route and the need to change trains, Diss station is used instead for the customers' shuttle buses. Sadly the station is 45 minutes away so a taxi will be ridiculously expensive if a lift isn't found. If your train ticket is an i.e. says 'Off Peak' instead of 'Advance' on it, then you can get a refund on the ticket, and rebook it for Halesworth.

I'm also having a similar problem. I'v already book my train tickets, arriving at Diss, not knowing that the staff bus goes from Halesworth.
I know the chances are slim but any possible chance of a lift would be amazing.
Arriving in Diss at 17:04 on Wed 16th at the moment, but i can change the time and day if necessary.

I'd say you'd be better arriving earlier than that anyway because you need to be onsite for your briefing, the last of which is 18.00 on the Wednesday. Some of the briefings in previous years have also not been in the Hotbox compound so you'd want to get your tent and everything set up well before so you don't have to carry it all across site to wherever the briefing ends up being.

Im still in need of a lift from Diss station to the festival site.
Would be happy to pay petrol.

Hi there,
I didn't know about those staff busses, what do I have to do to get them? Do I have to book them in advance too?
I would like to get to the festival on tuesday, and I could reach Halesworth from London by train.
