As far as I can work out, we camp next to the main arena.. Does that mean to go to the general public camping to meet friends I wouldn't be allowed to carry some cans through?
Also a few of them are getting the train so I have said I could take their tents and meet them when they find a camping spot to give them less to carry. Will that be ok?
Very random camping and alcohol question.

I'd imagine it will be the same as last year. We have to pass through the arena to get to the public camp sites so you wouldn't be able to carry alcohol through the arena. It might also be an issue taking bags/tents etc.
But the arena isn't officially open to the public until Thursday night so you might be able to get through with things before then.

They have early bird tickets so it would be the Wednesday anyway. I suppose if not I could always just take the tents around the outside and meet them at another gate?
Ill work something out. Do your bags get searched going into the arena? A few people have said they don't. I was looking forward to meeting my friends for a drink

Hey I went through to meet my friends last year and no one searched my bag, it was after the arena had closed though so that might be why.
