With Leeds and Reading Festivals just around the corner, a number of you have been in touch asking about travelling to and from the festivals.
If you're planning to use public transport when travelling keep an eye out for your info pack which will be posted out to you, as it'll include details about which stations to aim for and shuttle bus timetables to and from the festival sites.
If you're planning to drive to the festivals and can offer a lift to fellow volunteers, or if you're looking for a lift, please head over to our festival forums where you'll find volunteers chatting about lift sharing!
By sharing a lift, not only will your journey be cheaper by sharing travel costs but you'll have the chance to make new friends before arriving at the festival and most importantly do your bit for the environment by reducing your carbon footprint!

When volunteering with us you do need to pay a refundable security deposit.

If you're thinking about volunteering but not sure about doing it on your own don't worry, every year around half of the volunteers who join us do so on their own the first time and then return year on year to meet up with friends they've made volunteering!
