We hope you all got home safe and sound from Latitude Festival!
We'd like to send out a big thank you to all of our volunteers!
We had a huge team at Latitude this year and were asked to cover all sorts of positions including the arena gates, toilets, emergency exits, literary tent, the 'In the Woods' pixies, kids area, guest area, performers campsite, public campsites, fire towers, campsite gates, wristband exchanges, campervan areas, showers, day car park, and the further afield positions we all know and love such as the bike rack and shuttle bus drop-off!
No matter where you were or what was asked of us you did a fantastic job making sure that the festival goers were safe and got the most out of their weekends! We received a constant stream of praise from other teams across the festival site complimenting your hard work and professionalism so again a big thank you for all of your help at the 2014 Latitude Festival!
We'd also like to send out a special thank you to all of our staff who worked their socks off organising and looking after our volunteers. We've already received a lot of thank you messages from Hotbox Events volunteers who really appreciated the extra efforts our staff made to make sure our volunteers also got the most out of their time at Latitude.
Finally we'd like to send out a special thank you to our office staff and compound volunteers. The office was busier than ever at Latitude this year and we know how hard you worked to keep on top of the seemingly endless administration involved with managing a team of 800 people! A big thanks too to our new compound volunteers for making sure that our own area was kept secure and as tidy as possible - we know chasing 800 people to keep their camping areas tidy isn't easy!
We hope whatever you were doing with us at Latitude you enjoyed your week and to those of you joining us for more of the same at the 2014 Reading or Leeds Festival we're looking forward to seeing you in 4 weeks!
