2016 Season's Greetings from everyone at Hotbox Events!

Wednesday, December 21, 2016

As 2016 comes to an end we've been reflecting on a very successful festival season and planning for 2017...

We were once again graced with beautiful sunshine at Latitude Festival this summer which always helps to make working at a festival the best job in the world! We cover a wide variety of positions across the festival and ask a lot of our team at Latitude. You all did a fantastic job, always with a smile, helping to look after festival goers in the campsites, on the towers and gates, In the Woods, arenas...and too many other places to list!

We were delighted to work with the V South Festival for the first time in 2016 and in a new role for Hotbox Events; managing the ticket scanning on the festival gates. Although a new challenge, you all did a wonderful job and the feedback we have received has been brilliant. We're already looking forward to returning to V Festival in 2017 and we hope you are too!

Reading and Leeds swapped weather this year, and be it beautiful sunshine at Reading, or downpours at Leeds, you all continued working hard and providing the amazing service to the festival goers you've become known for. The feedback we've received from the festival organisers has been a pleasure to read so again a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Reading and Leeds this summer!

One of our favourite parts of the year is reading your feedback after the festivals, that you not only do an amazing job but also have a such a great time doing it always makes us smile! So, a huge thank you to everyone who has been in touch via our social channels and email to let us know what a great time you had! We'll be sharing it all on our staff and volunteer feedback page soon!

As always, a special thank you to our tireless festival staff teams. To our supervisors, control teams, office staff, minibus drivers and managers, a huge thank you for all you do to keep things running smoothly onsite.

We'd also like to say one final thank you to our volunteer photographers for the amazing photographs they took at the festivals this summer! If you're yet to spot them, you can find hundreds of photos from this summer's festivals in our website's festival photo galleries. We've also added them all to our Facebook galleries for you to tag and share! If you follow us on Instagram, keep your eyes peeled as we'll be sharing our favourites each week!

Finally, we'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We're looking forward to seeing you in a field, or two...or three, or even four, in 2017!
