We're finally back in the office and starting to get everything tidied up following the incredibly busy month that was August! So we're a little later than usual sending this out but we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our 2016 V Festival staff and volunteers for your hard work at this year's festival!
It's always a pleasure to welcome back volunteers who work with us each year, as well as those who are new to our team. Despite the gale force winds and occasional heavy showers, you all remained positive, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. We were all very impressed with your upbeat attitude and competence when we visited you at your gates. The Gate Managers and security staff also told us how pleased they were to have had you working with them this year and were very grateful for your excellent work. So again a big thank you to all of our V volunteers!
We'd also like to thank our brilliant staff team who worked so hard throughout the event to look after you from initial deployment to welfare and management during your shifts. Many thanks to our office team who keep an eye on us all during the week!
We'd also like to give a special mention to our volunteer photographer Harrison, who was out and about taking some amazing photos of you all working hard at V Festival. We'll let you know as soon as they are online!
We hope you enjoyed your time volunteering with us at V Festival as much as we enjoyed working with you and we look forward to seeing you all in a field soon!
