2018 Download Festival volunteer shift selection is now open!

Wednesday, May 16, 2018

If you're volunteering with us at the 2018 Download Festival you can now login to Hotbox Events PAAM to choose your festival shift preferences!

There are 17 volunteer shift patterns available at Download Festival, please make sure you indicate a preference for each shift as PAAM won't let you save your preferences until you have!

We plan to start allocating Download volunteer shifts the week beginning Monday 21st May so please make sure you choose your festival volunteer shift preferences by Monday 21st May at the very latest!

To choose your Download volunteer shift preferences you need to:

1. Login to Hotbox Events PAAM.
2. Select the Download Festival Info button.
3. Read the Shift Planner in the Shift Pattern Preference section.
4. Choose your Shift Preferences via the Shift Dropdowns.
5. Update your preferences using the button at the bottom!

Once we've allocated your shift pattern it will be displayed in the Group section of your Download Festival Info page.

Also, please don't forget that if you're volunteering with friends you need to make sure you've added their names to your PAAM profile – this is your last chance before Download Festival shifts are allocated!

For further information about how shifts are allocated please read the information within the shift planner PDF.

Please keep an eye on your inbox, our news and social channels, as we'll soon be getting in touch with further info about volunteering at Download Festival including how you can login to pre-order your meal vouchers and download your Download Festival Info Pack! Your pack will include a wealth of info including pre-event and onsite contact details, travel and arrival info, where and when you need to check-in at Download Festival, information about festival passes, how volunteer shifts are organised, Download Festival catering, your briefings and training sessions, emergency procedures, staff and volunteer roles and responsibilities at the festival, festival security procedures, festival CCTV, Health and Safety, festival communications, info about the Download Festival Green Initiatives and more!

If you've not volunteered at a festival before and you're wondering what it's like our festival FAQs are packed full of answers to the questions we're regularly asked, plus lots of handy hints and tips about volunteering at festivals.

If you'd like to chat with others who have volunteered with us before you can head over to our festival forum where you'll find both new and returning volunteers chatting about what it's like to volunteer at festivals, arranging to share lifts, asking and answering questions about volunteering at festivals...

If you'd like to see what volunteering is like you can head to our festival photo galleries where you'll find thousands of photos of our volunteers having an amazing time whilst volunteering with us!

If there is anything you'd like to ask or you'd just like to chat with us about volunteering, please don't hesitate to email or call the office or get in touch via one of our social channels!
