Hotbox Events Reindeer Holding Banner"It's been a fantastic year for Hotbox Events! We've been involved with more than ever at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, expanded to nearly twice as many volunteers at the Latitude Festival and jumped in head first at The Big Chill Festival!

At the beginning of the 2010 festival season we spent a lot of time reading through your feedback from 2009 - what you liked and your suggestions for improvement. We did our very best in 2010 to make sure you had a great experience volunteering with Hotbox Events - we hope you did! We've been planning for 2011's festivals since September and we hope you're looking forward to them as much as we are! If there is anything you'd like to suggest for next year please do get in touch.

Before I leave you I'll mention Hove Festival! I had a meeting with Festival Republic a couple of weeks ago and there is talk of some CATs to heading over to Norway in 2011! We'll be getting more info out to you all about this soon!

Best wishes"

Mark Hatchard
Director, Hotbox Events

"As another year comes to a close, the Managers and Staff at Hotbox Events are looking back on another very successful Festival Season for the CATs and HATs. That success relies on the hard work and dedication of you, the volunteers; every year you bring such enthusiasm to the role which receives very positive feedback and is the reason our numbers grow year on year.

Thank you for joining us at Latitude, The Big Chill and Reading and Leeds in 2010 and for continuing to help make the CATs and HATs such a success!

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year and we very much look forward to seeing you all again in 2011!

Best wishes"

Steph Newman
Latitude Festival, CAT, HAT and Pixie Manager

"Hope you've had a good autumn and are getting into a good winter. The summer was, as always in festival world, a blast! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make our inaugural Big Chill the success it was - we have received a lot of very positive feedback from Festival Republic and that's down to your hard work and commitment. Hope to see you all in a field once the snow has melted!

Have a good Christmas & New Year"

Rob Donovan
The Big Chill Festival, CAT & HAT Manager

"Hi Everyone

Well we had a fantastic summer with you all at this year's festivals, already we are planning for 2011 and really looking forward to catching up with you all again and of course our new recruits that will be joining us at Leeds next year, so a huge thank you once again for making all of this possible every year, because without you it just wouldn't happen.

Have a fantastic Christmas and new year and don't forget to put camping gear on your pressie list, but most of all, enjoy yourselves over the holiday season, stay warm, eat, drink and be merry.

All the best x"

Jo Shields
Leeds Festival, CAT Manager

"As I sit inside a nice warm building (wishing I had a roaring log fire) looking outside at the bleak and cold winter weather I fondly remember this year's festivals; the sunshine and pixies of Latitude, the cold nights and steep hills of the Big Chill and the heavy downpours and ankle-deep mud of Reading 2010 and I eagerly anticipate the forthcoming festival season (although hopefully with a little less mud at Reading)... At all four of our 2010 events we had a fantastic bunch of volunteers, which makes them such an enjoyable experience for us, so please take some well-deserved time off during the holidays to sit back and relax with your favourite tipple and a mince pie and make sure you come back and join us at Latitude, the Big Chill and Reading / Leeds Festivals in 2011!

...and who knows, with the introduction of Hotbox Events at the Big Chill in 2010, Santa may decide to treat us to another new festival in 2011 for being on the nice list again!

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year!"

Tavis Russell
Reading Festival, CAT Manager
