2012 UK Festivals Roundup and Review

2012 UK Festivals Roundup and Review

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Following another fantastic festival season it's now that time of year when we're all starting to miss the fun filled summer festival fields.

If you like us are daydreaming about the amazing highs and have mostly forgotten the soggy lows, head over to the PAAM Event Management Software Blog where this week they're taking a look back at the 2012 festival season!

And what a season it was, this year saw some of best acts from around the world join us at Latitude, Leeds and Reading Festivals. With US rock heroes Foo Fighters absolutely smashing it out of the respective Leeds and Reading parks. They were joined by fellow US band Green Day who pulled off a killer secret set at 11:00am at Reading. Now that's how you start your Saturday morning!

You were in for a treat if you were lucky enough to secure a volunteering place at Latitude Festival and managed to catch Elbow headlining the mainstage on Saturday night with lead singer Guy Garvey belting out One Day Like This to bring the evening's entertainment to a close. That's one that will live long in the memory.

At some point in the coming weeks we'll be sharing with you the photographs taken over the course of all our festival weekends. Thank you to all those who sent in pictures and your feedback so far, it always a pleasure to read about your experiences and see pictures of you having a great time.

Keep an eye on our photo galleries for the photos being uploaded.
